Terms and Conditions of the MBO Brazil Entrepreneur Award

The MBO BRASIL ENTREPRENEUR Award is an award that recognizes and celebrates Brazilian entrepreneurs who stand out in their areas of performance. Created with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship and the country's economic development, the award seeks to recognize and reward businesspeople who demonstrate excellence in their activities. Eligibility Criteria:

• To participate in the MBO BRASIL ENTREPRENEUR Award, entrepreneurs must meet certain eligibility criteria.

• The nomination process for the MBO BRASIL ENTREPRENEUR Award is open to any person or entity interested in nominating an entrepreneur for the prize. Nominations can be made online, through the official website: www.mbotalks.com/premiombo - during the designated referral period.

• When making a nomination, it is necessary to provide detailed information about the entrepreneur and their company, including compliance with the previously mentioned eligibility criteria.

• Nominations must be substantiated and supported by evidence that proves the excellence of the entrepreneur and the positive impact of his company.

​ These criteria may vary depending on the award category, but generally include the following requirements:

• Business Activity: The entrepreneur must be the founder or co-founder of a company operating in Brazil.

• Innovation: The company must have demonstrated innovation in its sector, whether through products, services or business models.

• Social and Economic Impact: The company must have a positive impact on society and the Brazilian economy.

• Sustainability: A company must demonstrate sustainable practices and socio-environmental responsibility.

Selection Process:

• After the nomination period closes, nominations are reviewed and evaluated by a selection committee made up of experts in entrepreneurship, business and finance. The committee reviews each nomination based on the eligibility criteria and individual merits of each entrepreneur.

• After the initial review, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are selected as finalists. Finalists are then subjected to a more detailed assessment, which may include interviews and document review.

• Based on the final evaluation, the winners of the MBO BRASIL ENTREPRENEUR Awardare selected. Winners are announced and awarded at an awards ceremony where they are publicly recognized for their achievements.

​ Voting and Selection of Winners

• The selection of the winners of the Prêmio MBO BRASIL EMPREENDEDOR is made through a voting system that involves a panel of judges and public voting. The judging panel is made up of renowned experts in entrepreneurship and business, who evaluate the finalists based on predefined criteria.

• In addition to the evaluation of the panel of judges, the public vote also plays an important role in selecting the winners. The public can vote for their favorite entrepreneurs via the official award website during the designated voting period.

• The result of the public vote is combined with the evaluation of the panel of judges to determine the winners of the MBO Brazil Entrepreneur Award. This combination of votes ensures a fair and balanced selection process, which takes into account both expert opinion and public preference.

• Expert Jury 70% (Innovation, Environment and Working Conditions, Human Resources, Social and Economic Impact and Sustainability)

​​ Data Protection

• It is recommended that, when submitting documents, registrants commit to fully complying with data protection legislation. We actively seek to ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Law and other applicable regulations, treating personal data with respect to the principles established by law and in accordance with the legal bases of articles 7 (for common personal data) and 11 (for data sensitive personal information).

• By participating in the award, candidates acknowledge that the personal data of the person responsible for the application and of the award candidates (such as name, position, date of birth, email and telephone cell phone) will only need to be shared with members of the award evaluation panel.

• ​This sharing will be strictly to comply with the regulation and reward personal data holders, as established in art. 7th, V of the General Personal Data Protection Law. In this context, personal data will be used for purposes such as screening entrants, selecting winners, communicating with candidates, awarding prizes, sending materials and invitations to events related to the award.

• ​Personal data will be kept until the next edition of the prize and, thereafter, for the time necessary to audit the results of the competition or contest them in court or administratively. This will occur exclusively for the regular exercise of rights, as provided for in article 7, VI of the General Personal Data Protection Law.

Right of Use and Distribution of Images/Audio

• When registering or being aware of their nomination, candidates automatically expressly authorize MBOTalks Events & Networkto reproduce, publish, broadcast, quote and display images (photography and video), audios and texts about their work, unlimitedly, in the Folha newspaper, which will be distributed/marketed and displayed throughout the national territory and abroad , in print and electronic media (internet), in location, edition, size to be defined at the sole discretion of the newspaper.

• This authorization is provided free of charge, without incurring MBOTalks Events & Networkat any cost or charge, at any time and title. Authorization is given irrevocably and irreversibly, without any limitation of quantity, time or territory, binding on the applicant for himself, his heirs and his successors.

Technological Means and Registration

• To register, it is recommended to use computers and notebooks, using the Chrome browser. If access via the web is not possible, it will be possible to access the platform via mobile devices, such as cell phones and tablets. In this case, we recommend using the device in horizontal viewing mode.

• In order to avoid problems in completing registration due to connection problems, especially for those using mobile devices, it is recommended that registration is not left until the last few days of the deadline.

Final considerations

• AMBOTalks Events & Netowork declares itself sovereign in all stages of the MBO BRASIL EMPREENDEDOR Award, therefore, no appeal or contestation of this regulation is possible. Any and all entries received will be declared a tacit manifestation of the candidate's full agreement with the competition rules.

• The competition organizing committee reserves the right to modify the competition regulations and/or dates. In this case, registered candidates will be notified by email and/or reports clarifying the changes will be published.
